This project was to convert the existing lighting which consisted of 260 x 275W Metal Halide and Sodium fixtures. It can be seen in the before photograph a mixture of colors due to mixing of old lights.
The Port maintenance engineers removed all the old fixtures and replace them with 150 Venus Series x100w.
By reducing the number of new fixtures plus the lower wattage required the result was the 260 traditional lights which Energy cost was $41,196.00.first year.
The Venus series VP which totaled 150 pictures at 100 W per fixture first year running cost $4,270.50. A saving per year of $36.925.50
